SO, WHY A PUBLIC MEDITATIVE SPACE?
In today’s fast-paced digital world, we often neglect our mental health, overwhelmed by stress. To grow and transform, we must embrace life’s difficult phases as necessary steps to improve. It’s crucial to create spaces for pause, reflection and inner well-being. Research shows mindfulness and self-reflection are key to building mental resilience.
Inspired by Carl Jung’s shadow work, I propose a meditative space that encourages self-introspection and personal growth. By embracing stillness and confronting our challenges, we can better navigate life’s ups and downs and foster lasting change.

I named the project Indriyaan / इन्द्रियाँ because, in Hindu philosophy, it refers to the senses, which are vital for interacting with the external world. Reflecting the project's focus on using sensory experiences to promote mindfulness and inner healing.
