HELLO HELLO HELLO
Vi·du·shi | \ ˈvi-dʊ-ʃi \
Sanskrit origin, meaning "learned, wise woman"
I am a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for cross-cultural communication.
I love bringing people together through my work and aim to bridge cultural gaps. Much of my inspiration comes from my diverse lived experiences growing up with a colonial mindset in post-colonial India and living in the UK, which continue to inform my identity.
With a keen interest in ethnography and semiotics, I am able to place empathy and consideration at the heart of my design practice. Thriving on collaboration and my ability to gather deep insights, my work aims to spark thoughtful dialogue and build empathy around the topics of Identity, Culture and Language. My work spans the interdisciplinary fields of graphic design, curation, writing, design thinking and data-driven approaches.
I graduated:
– MA Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art, London
– BA Graphic Design at University for the Creative Arts, Epsom
(First Class Honours and Nominee of both Vaughan Oliver and Paul Bowman memorial prizes)
– Bachelors in Communication Design at Pearl Academy, New Delhi
- Mid-term Graphic Design – University for the Creative Arts, Epsom, UK (2021)
- RCA2024 – Royal College of Art, London, UK (2024)
